Direct answer
Yes. Pocket Archive can use Microsoft OneDrive as the destination for processed Pocket/HeyPocket recordings. It creates a Pocket Archive folder, writes the transcript and available summary as Markdown, and can transfer available audio, including large files through Microsoft upload sessions.
The archive structure
Google Drive and OneDrive use the same predictable naming convention, so changing destination does not change how the archive is organized.
Permission disclosure
OneDrive access is broader than Google Drive access
Microsoft Graph does not offer a direct equivalent of Google's drive.file scope for this folder workflow. Pocket Archive currently requests Files.ReadWrite, which grants read and write access to the OneDrive as a whole.
The application code uses that access only for the Pocket Archive folder, but that is a policy and implementation constraint—not a Microsoft-enforced boundary. Review the full explanation on the security page before connecting OneDrive.
Google Drive, OneDrive, or both
Basic and Pro accounts use one active destination. The Unlimited plan can send each new recording to Google Drive and OneDrive at the same time. Multi-destination delivery is best-effort: one cloud can succeed while the other reports that it needs to reconnect.
Older recordings still depend on Pocket
Historical re-sync works only for recordings still returned by Pocket's API. Pocket Archive cannot bypass Pocket access rules or reconstruct a deleted recording. Files already written to OneDrive remain yours if you disconnect the service later.
Before connecting
- Decide whether the broader Microsoft permission is acceptable for your account.
- Use Google Drive instead if you require a platform-enforced per-app file boundary.
- Review or revoke Microsoft access at any time through Microsoft My Apps.
- Check current plan details if you need both destinations simultaneously.
