1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using Pocket Archive, you agree to these terms.
2. Description of Service
Pocket Archive is independent software that synchronizes Pocket/HeyPocket recordings into cloud storage you connect. Depending on the recording data available from Pocket and the active product workflow, the delivered files can include a transcript, summary, action items, and audio in Google Drive or Microsoft OneDrive.
What your subscription buys: Fees pay for Pocket Archive's software, automation, infrastructure, product features, and support. Pocket Archive does not sell or provide Pocket API access, a Pocket account, Pocket content, or a license to Pocket's technology. The service is not a general-purpose Pocket API proxy.
3. Your Authorization to Connect Accounts
You supply a Pocket API key generated for a Pocket account you control or are authorized to use, configure the webhook in that account, and connect your own cloud destination. By providing those credentials, you direct and authorize Pocket Archive to use them only to retrieve data available to that account and perform the archive, sync, and related features you request.
You may withdraw that authorization by revoking the relevant credential with Pocket, disconnecting a cloud provider, or deleting your Pocket Archive account. Pocket Archive does not grant you access to Pocket and does not authorize use of another person's account or recordings.
4. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for protecting your account, connected cloud accounts, Pocket API key, and webhook configuration. You represent that you are entitled to access and copy the submitted recordings. You agree to use the service in compliance with applicable law, obtain any consent required before recording people, and follow the terms governing your Pocket and cloud-storage accounts.
5. Communications
We send service messages needed to operate your account, such as sync failures and trial notices. If you receive optional product updates, you may unsubscribe through the link in the message or by contacting contact@pocketarchive.us.
6. Data Processing & Third-Party Services
The current categories of data we hold, how credentials and cached content are protected, the companies that process data, and the applicable retention periods are described in the Privacy Policy and Security page. Those disclosures form part of these terms.
7. Third-Party API Dependency & Service Limitations
Pocket Archive's core functionality — including recording retrieval, transcripts, summaries, audio access, and historical re-sync — depends on the Pocket/HeyPocket public API. Pocket Archive is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Pocket, HeyPocket, or its parent company.
Historical availability: Re-sync is provided on a best-effort basis and applies only while Pocket continues to return the recording through its API. If Pocket deletes a recording or changes, restricts, or discontinues API access, Pocket Archive cannot guarantee that recording can be retrieved. Files already delivered into your own cloud storage are not removed merely because later API access changes.
Pocket may suspend a credential, change its terms, impose limits, or discontinue an endpoint without Pocket Archive's control. We may pause or change affected functionality when reasonably necessary to comply with third-party requirements or protect the service.
We will make reasonable efforts to notify active subscribers of material changes to service functionality caused by third-party API modifications. Pocket Archive is not liable for data loss, access restrictions, or service degradation resulting from changes outside our control.
8. Third-Party Names and Independence
References to Pocket and HeyPocket identify the third-party product with which Pocket Archive interoperates. Third-party names and marks belong to their respective owners. Their use does not imply sponsorship, endorsement, partnership, or official status.
9. Limitation of Liability
Pocket Archive is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Pocket Archive shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of this service, including but not limited to data loss, loss of access to third-party platforms, or service interruptions caused by external API changes.
