Transcripts that were saved empty are being restored

Between September 23 and October 16, some transcripts were saved to your cloud without their text when a recording was updated or re-synced. Pocket still had the full transcript.
This is fixed, and affected transcripts are being restored automatically from Pocket. You do not need to do anything.
Only a transcript file that holds no text is rewritten. Summaries, audio and any transcript that already has text are left exactly as they are.
If Pocket itself has no transcript for a recording, its file stays as it is.
To restore one right away, click Re-sync on that recording in your dashboard.

October 15, 2026

New recordings now get a folder and files named for the day and time you recorded them, not the day they reached Pocket Archive.
In Google Drive and OneDrive, new files and folders carry the recording time, so sorting by date matches your timeline.
Recordings you already archived are corrected gradually in the background: their date in your cloud changes, but folder names and contents stay exactly as they are.
In Google Drive, files that already exist can only have their modified date corrected, not their created date. Your computer may also show its own download time for files synced to a folder.
The recordings list can now be sorted by when a recording was recorded or when it was synced, across all of your recordings, and the list refreshes faster after the first load. Searching and filtering by tag still use Pocket directly.

October 2, 2026

When a new recording arrives after you reach your plan’s daily limit, it is queued instead of skipped, and archives automatically once your allowance resets, oldest first.
Catch-up stays within your plan’s daily limit — to archive more in a day, move to a plan with a higher limit.
The daily-limit email now tells you how many recordings are waiting and links straight to your plan options.
Recordings deleted from Pocket before they catch up are skipped; anything already in your Google Drive or OneDrive is untouched.

When Pocket gives a recording its final title, Pocket Archive updates the existing cloud folder instead of making a second one.
Summaries and transcript edits that arrive later refresh the files already in your archive. Use Refresh list for the latest Pocket recording list; an older open tab refreshes when you return to it.
If a recording disappears from Pocket, it leaves the current list, but the copy already in your Google Drive or OneDrive stays yours.
Older folders without a reliable recording link are left untouched instead of being guessed or duplicated.

Choose the spoken language before enhancing a recording, or leave it on Auto to use the recording’s existing text and language information when available.
When the language is unclear, Auto listens in multilingual mode instead of assuming English.
If a transcription is clearly incomplete, you can choose a language and try again without losing credits or receiving a misleading file.
Enhanced files created before this update are not regenerated automatically. Your original Pocket transcript remains available beside them.

There is now a full security page listing every field we store, what a breach would and would not expose, and the things we deliberately do not claim.
Your saved credentials and the action items we cache are encrypted with a key our database does not hold, so a stolen database is ciphertext rather than working access to your cloud.
We were not upfront before about caching your action items and recording titles. Both are now listed on the security and privacy pages, and both are encrypted.
On Google Drive we can only open files we created ourselves — the rest of your Drive is invisible to us. On OneDrive Microsoft only offers a broader permission, and we now say so plainly instead of leaving it out.
Every claim on the page links somewhere you can check it yourself, including your own Google and Microsoft permission pages where you can revoke our access in one click.

Pocket transcripts label every line "Unknown". Enhanced transcripts re-listen to your original audio and separate the speakers, so a meeting reads as a conversation instead of a wall of text.
The audio is transcribed again from scratch, which also fixes wording Pocket got wrong — including dropped words like "can't" that reverse what someone actually said.
Open any recording and click Enhance. You can add participant names to help, or skip it entirely.
Anything we work out ourselves is marked as a guess with the line that led to it, and anyone we cannot place stays "Speaker 1" rather than being given a name we are not sure of.
Your original transcript is never touched — the enhanced version is saved alongside it in your own cloud storage.
Included on Pro and Unlimited, measured in audio minutes so a short note costs less than a long meeting.

Summary files now always include the full executive summary, key points, and action items — fetched fresh from HeyPocket on every sync.
Have an older recording with a missing or incomplete summary? Click Re-sync on it and the complete summary will be added to your cloud folder.
Syncing now waits until HeyPocket has finished generating the summary instead of archiving a recording too early.
The Action Items view aggregates directly from your recording details for better accuracy.

Microsoft OneDrive can now be your archive destination alongside Google Drive.
Unlimited plan: sync every recording to Google Drive and OneDrive at the same time.
Per-destination status banners show exactly which connection needs attention.

Every upload is verified in your cloud storage before a recording is marked as synced.
If a storage connection expires you get an email alert and a one-click reconnect.
The dashboard shows a live sync status with the time of your last successful sync.
